He flirted with a career in football until his early twenties, having proven himself for a number of lower league teams before injury brought him to a halt.
Bradley then came to life onscreen and made his first breakthrough as ITV’s Midas Touch presenter in 1995.
It was the start of an illustrious career on the box, both as a presenter and an actor.

Since then, Bradley has played Danny Baldwin in Coronation Street, DS Ronnie Brooks in Law & Order, and Graham O’Brien in Doctor Who.
When not playing a character, the actor appears as his cheeky, cheeky self in TV shows as a host.
The Chase, of course, falls into that category, and you’ll have spotted Bradley on shows like Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Nightly Show, and Wheel of Fortune over the years.
Bradley’s 23-year-old son Barney also appears to be following in his talented father’s footsteps as he embarks on his own television career.

The father and son duo are famous in Bradley Walsh & Son: ITV’s Breaking Dad, which ran for three series.
On top of all that, Bradley has a crackling voice on him.
His debut album, Chasing Dreams, featured a number of jazz covers and reached the Top 10 on the UK official charts.
It all adds up too, earlier this year the MailOnline reported that Bradley is making almost £ 1million a year and, when his assets add up, the star’s net worth is £ 20million. .
What is Bradley doing in Kent?
Bradley may not be from Kent, but some locals may have spotted the star in the county in recent months.
The actor was seen in Faversham, Margate and Broadstairs at the end of June and he was dressed in a rather bizarre outfit.

That’s because he stars in ITV’s The Larkins, inspired by The Darling Buds of May which was, of course, based in Kent.
Bradley was filming the series in the towns of Kent alongside the rest of the cast and crew.
In Broadstairs, he joked with a KentLive reporter that “Broadstairs is the most beautiful place within a half mile radius”.
He admitted to having visited “only once” but promised he would “definitely” be back.
